Look to Jackson beginner bass guitars
for one of the best sources that a beginning bass guitarist
could ever choose for a first bass guitar. All Jackson guitars provide quality, looks, sound
and playability that no other guitar brand does at a similar price point and Jackson bass
guitars are no exception to this.
When you're starting out, it doesn't make sense to spend thousands of dollars on your equipment.
You do need quality equipment to learn on but you don't need high dollar professional equipment.
You really shouldn't spend more than $400, give or take a few dollars, on a first bass guitar.
As a long time guitarist, I would consider that a reasonable investment in a beginning bass guitar.
A Jackson beginner bass guitar will give you all the quality, sound and looks that you could ask for
at a price that won't break the bank.
As I mentioned above, the C20 Concert Bass is the only Jackson bass guitar that fits my around $400 criteria for a beginner bass guitar. If you want to check out their other models you can find them at Musicians Friend, Guitar Center, and Music123.
